Just wondering, because I did, and I'm kind of regretting it. Just looks a little odd as of current in a ponytail.

Did anybody else make a part? If so, do you have any pics showing how it turned out over time?

Honestly, I've been thinking of taking them out and redoing them, for the third time, haha. It seems I'm just not happy with the way I do them myself. No matter how hard I try, I always end up accidentally forming some sort of part or pattern.

my part is just sort of a spot on the top of my head where the dreads kind of gather... it works for me.

I'd say leave them and just let them do there thing but if you do end up deciding to redo them again, hopefully 3rd time would be the charm :)

I didn't really consider it either, it's just the way it turned out, lol.

I'll have to take some time and think about it. Because I really don't feel like doing them over again.

EDIT: Well, I took half of them out, and left the back alone. (My head hurts!) and I'm gonna try as hard as I can not to part them =P If I don't like the outcome this time, too bad. Taking dreads out takes too long, and hurts, lol.

Ok im not the most adept when it comes to hair, so what do you mean by part? I have a vague idea but its kinda hard to apply it lol, I have one dread right in the middle at the front of my head lol, I kinda push it to the right but its still kinda silly lookin.

Just let them do what they want to do. They'll look good no matter what, so stop worrying about it!

happy vibes make your dreads tighten faster and grow fatter...just saying...it's science.

Why on earth did you take that many out man! Why didn't you just take out 2 paralel lines either side of dread out and redo those different sizes so it distorted the parting?? Or combine some!! Let them be!!

Yes even though you happen to have a straight part, you can always force the dreads into a new, messier part? That's how i do.. i think i have a part which is how my hair wants to lay down, but i switch side and do different parts all the time. Just wash them and let dry in the new part.

Mine have a straight part. I think it'll serve me well for pig tails later down the road. So far they're too short to really tie back at all.

Mine part naturally straight. I used to try to do different parts even when I had straight hair but it would just find its way back to its regular spot. So I gave up. My dreads are the same way. They refuse to do any other than a straight part, so whatever :p

I think all dreads look great parted or not anywho.
