Zucchini or Cucumber?!?

    Alright HipForum Gardening Subthread Group Experts...!

    I'm a cashier and after about a month I still can't tell the Freaking DIFFERENCE bettween a Damn Zucchini and a Cucumber and I have to ask like every customer... Please respond it would be greatly appreciated.

    Compare the stems. Cucumbers have a skinny, vine-like stem, zucchini have a thick stem almost as big as the end of the fruit. Also, many of the cucumbers are spiny, zucchini aren't.

    yup, what gaston said. i would say that zucchini are also generally darker green and shinier than cukes.

    If you ate them you could tell the difference. I take it you don't. Zucchini usually has a much smoother skin, and I can tell them apart by feel and smell. Zucchini does definitely have a larger stem.

    Try eating some of them this summer, you'll be amazed how you can the difference.

    Yeah I know I've had cucumber but I don't think zucchini.

    Worked tonight... and was RIGHT every time because of the Stem size. Thanks Gangstas.
