A new way of life from the ground up!

I know many of you are looking to change your life. That's why you're reading this forum on community. Here's your chance:

Echowood Farm, a new rural community located in Central Texas (an hour from Austin) is looking for adult (18 and over) visitors and prospective members who are interested in helping to create a sustainable and egalitarian culture.

We welcome both visitors and people interested in living here.

Echowood is located in a pastoral setting of oaks, pecan trees and fields. The community was established last April with 4 founding members (4 non-related adults).

In coming to Echowood while it's still in its beginning phase, you'll have the opportunity to help invent a new way of life from the ground up.

We intend to create a close-knit group of artists, farmers, musicians and craftspeople. We want to construct a viable alternative to the typical isolation of apartments, meaningless jobs, etc., and cooperate to build a sustainable way of life in an accepting and nurturing environment.
