Need New Music! COF and MM!!

Ok.. i really want the new Cradle Of Filth abum Thornography.. and the new Marilyn Manson album Eat Me, Drink Me.

Quite right. Soulseek is what I use too, it'll find you almost anything.

 

I prefer torrents. OiNK for the win.

I don't have either album either, chances are that won't change. lol.

 

I don't like Torrents, the usual album-aimed P2P-programs (Soulseek, DC++) have always been my preference. I think it's because I want to have some amount of choice between bitrates, I always used to have MP3 players with small amounts of space (256, 384, 500 MB) and I wanted to have a wide array of different music, but always whole albums on it, so I opted for the lower bitrates (most commonly 128, 160, 192) so I could cram more shit on my MP3 player.
And I dislike the fact that you have to use the torrent program, then Winzip, THEN Alcohol, where P2P uses only a single program. So Soulseek is a bit more convenient for me.
PLUS, I already have dozens of gigabytes of music on my harddisk even WITH low bitrates, and I strongly doubt my harddisks could have hald it all if it was all of a higher bitrate.

 

use torrent. I think even something basic as isohunt will be ok in this case.

 

Dude, I use utorrent and OiNK, OiNK being the single best place to go to find any album you want, at a great quality with no transcodes.

No winzip or Alcohol here. Albums download to the "complete" folder in mp3 format (or flac, whichever).

 

Ah, nice. But Soulseek really works just fine for me, whatever it is I'm looking for.

Oooo..Thronography made me cry...they sound like HIM now(sellouts)...Mansons new CD isnt worth the plastic its made on...they both made me sad...haha

 

i liked the new marilyn manson album, it takes a fresh turn from the "god sucks ass" songs of old. and its better than his last album where he did vocals for KMFDM

Because Cradle went from insane black metal to emo sellouts...HIM isnt metal...Cradle was metal...people liked Cradle before they soldout...

Manson was more political than that...if you read his book and actully listen to the lyrics you would get it...(but he did sound like KMFDM in the last album)...

Cradle of Filth does alot of great atmospheric imagery with their music. The lyrical work is quite beautifully poetic and their arrangements are always worth the time to get a feel for. Might not be some people's cup of tea, understandable, but it doesnt mean its any less good than it is. People are forgetting that just because you may not like a band it doesnt mean they suck. I havnt heard thornography, but im a fan of midian and nymphetamine, i'll give it a a few listens some time
