Perhaps if we think peaceful thoughts and try to radiate them out into the world something cool will happen. I wish something could be done about all the refugee camps and religious wars and ugly looks from the neighbors cause you disagree with them about something. I do know what the guys want in Iraq and Afganistan.....They want Playboys and other like material. I guess they are really hard to get over there. I guess they don't exactly sell them in country. How did I get off on that subject? Oh well, other than the above, peace for the individual, which seems to be the only peace I can grasp and hold onto is a joint in one hand and a ice cold beer in the other.

well, when you think about it, we all model behavior for each other all the time. when we make a personal decision to think, live, act peacefully in our daily lives, we impact those around us by demonstrating an alternative.

 

It's true, we actually all live in and by our own perception of reality. And of course there's nothing wrong with imagining and wandering about different realities, as long as you don't lose your view on the one we have in common. Eh? :tongue:

 

My definintion of peace is no more violence, nothing offensive, equality, everyone just being them selves without others holding them back. caring about everyone, looking out for each other. and being one with your self

 

Peace means...people coexisting and accepting one another.

peace is possible only be realizing the interdependence of all peoples globaly & realizing that governments borders religions & personal philosophies should never seperate us, the entire notion of us versus them, is the enemy of peace, you cannot go to war with them, if there is only us... peace is realizing we are all one
