For me Peace means putting an end to this useless war, doing our very best to preserve the enviroment, accepting people for what they are regardless of where they come from. Respecting other people's belief system while staying true to yourself.

I agree with you completely! Peace for me is an end to war, harmony among classes, equality of life, beauty, truth and happiness shining out into this hate-filled world.
Peace and love wished to one and all.

My deifintion of peace is where you can walk out your front door and everyone looks at you and smiles or waves or flashes you a peace sign. Where there's no war, and no fighting, no insults, no cliques or tight groups, no labels. Everyone has everyones back.

I TOTALY AGREE WITH YOU IN THIS , YOU ARE SO RIGHT
i think Peace is in a relationship between our inner souls that translate it to peace and how to fight for it
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING OF PEACE ... IS HOW TO FIGHT FOR IT ....

I think peace is as simple as being in harmony with everything. No feelings of oppression and not to oppress anything else. Well, it's simple in theory..

Of course it even has meaning then. What if we didn't need to fight for it, does peace lose it's meaning then? We would probably appreciate it less.

...and when we start appreciating it less, there'll be another war before you know it. And then again we will have to fight for it.

WE REALLY NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT I DON'T KNOW WHAT !! BUT PEACE IS NOT ONLY A MESSAGE IT'S AN ACT AND IN OUR TIME = OUR WORLD
IT REALLY NEED SOME SERIOUS ACTION !!

We will always have to fight for it, because it's very unlikely there will be global peace. But happily peace isn't only about global harmony. ;)

Where everything is positive, where everyone is free. No war, no fighting, no judging on the outside, Hooray Bagism! To finally live >with< the planet. Not destroying it. As long as peace is in yourself.

Global, worldwide peace is so far away that if I talk about it, it almost seems an abstract thing. But of course things like peace with your surroundings and inner self are equally important and also falling under the definition of peace in my opinion. And maybe eassier to accomplish? :)

to me peace means you resolve differences through diplomacy - not war. you come to a compromise because everyone is committed to resolving disagreements through compromise. maybe everyone won't get everything they want, but we won't be hurting or killing each other, and in the process making the world a sad and unsafe place for everyone. peace is about acceptance rather than dominance. making the world a safe and joyful place for all.
