Hi all I'm a mom of a 3 year old and he wants to fight well play fight. He turns hes toys or things like sticks in to swards. I know he can be so very sweet he loves to help and fix things. He even hugs trees and if he sees a cut down tree he will kiss it and tell it that he is sory. I know he is a good boy yet I just dont understand the agreshion part. I guess this is normal he is my first.

I'm sure he gets his ideas from cartoons and other things that he is exposed to. I really would not worry. He is a boy. There is noting wrong with playing like that. As long as he does not do physical harm to anyone (make sure you explain this to him). He is your typical boy and has a great imagination.

I've read about little boys who will make guns out of sticks and pretend to shoot things even when their parents are very against guns and do not let them see them. Its just the nature of boys. Thats very natural, it doesn't sound like anythings wrong since he does have remorse about things.

I always wondered about that too......I gave my sons dolls, and they either ripped off the heads or used them for target practice. Brian had a Tonka truck that he used to ram into the wall, and then pick it up and breastfeed it, proving that boys love their trucks. I gave my girls trucks and they drove their baby dolls around in them. The boys ran over the dolls with their trucks.

Oh my. Do we have the same kids? My girls used to have tea parties with dollies in their trucks. My boy would "baby" his baby doll and then use it for a hammer. Boys and girls ARE different!
