first time lsd trip soon

hey guys. well ive just recently two tabs of lsd. the person whom i bought it from is a pretty good friend of mine. she said its good quality and she was trippin balls off of 1 tab.

im planning on doing it soon after my tests are over
i have no experience of lsd prior to this
my only drug experience has been marijuana... daily marijuana use... but that doesnt matter.

anyway. so, im just basically wondering some insight from any of you regarding, what to expect, maybe some fun things to do while tripping, things not to do... ect.. basically maybe u can tell me about your first acid experience

ive had the chance to do acid many times before and felt that i was not ready
i was first offered it at 14, and now im 17.. although im still young i feel as if im at a point in my life where i really would benefit out of an lsd experience. im not trying to have expectations because im told that could lead to a bad trip

ill be tripping with my best friend whos done acid a few times and we might have a babysitter too with us.

shes going to take one tab, but ive been told i should only take half of one for my first time.. wait until how i feel and then take the other half if i want to trip more

i wouldnt bother taking half a tab. Nowadays acid aint to strong. And cutting tabs in half might mess with the cid. First time i tripped i ate 3 hits alone at my house. It was fairly strong but i def think you should eat the whole tab because blotter is wicked sensitive. I remeber my friend cutting up his 14 strip with scissors and im pretty sure it made it weaker.

thank you all for your insight. tomorrows the day! just finished up my last day of testing today soooo im ready to have a good/relaxing/fun/ whatever may come time. im going to be tripping with my best friend whom i trust with my life at her house. she only lives with her dad and he actually doesnt care if she does drugs (only like pot & psychadellics) as long as shes responsible. so we dont have to worry about her dad getting pissed or anything but its not like were gonna be like "HEY WERE TRIPPING!", because he doesnt really want to know about it, yaknow. but what was i gonna say.. oh yeah. if one of my parents were to call me or whatever. would i sound fucked up?

more of what im asking is, will i still be able to distinguish reality and hold a normal conversation with my mom?...

 

why would you only take 1/2 a hit? one can only assume that this is just incase you dont like it or you might have a hard time or something. the problem with this scenario is that your hesitation alone could be the problem. just take a full dose - i would say that 2 is better but my first trip was only one hit and i was fine, i didnt have a great trip or anything but i didnt have a bad time either. even with the more potent stuff around it is still better to take at least 2 hits. one hit is only just a little taste of what acid is. 1/2 a hit would be a waste. - plus it is most definitely better to take all of your dose at once. although many will say to take half a hit then wait an hour or so and take the other - it is not a good idea - this would cause you to have two peaks one after the other, it is better to have one good peak then two half assed ones. if you do take more acid it is always good to wait until 4 hours after you first dose - this is because the peak lasts 4 hours, in other words - you may think that after an hour it is ok to take more as you dont feel too high but that could change even two hours later you might be higher then you thought you were going to be. it is not until 4 hours in that you can be sure that that is as high as you will be getting.

and i would suggest that when your parents call you that you dont answer the phone - i probably dont have to say this because you probably wont want to talk to them... if you have to - make it short and dont be nervous... most likely they will not notice anything off unless you act stupid or nervous. just be yourself and get off the phone as quickly as you can. it is best to avoid your parents.

congradulations--should be a GREAT time. take a whole hit...my first time i was really nervous to, but i took a whole hit and it was WONDERFUL. i think 1/2 a hit would be a waste.

my favourite thing to do is pay attention to nature...trees, flowers...anything alive really...you'll even notice that animals treat you differently while tripping. the stars on acid are amazing....go watch the sky for a while--now there is a trip!!!!

agreed! they will only pull you down. plus you said your friend's dad was there & he's cool w/ psychedelics (which means he gets it, has done it etc) if you need help, he'll likely know what to do...but sounds to me like you'll be just fine.
