they are perfetcly fine you might wannt start making the stem get thicker buy touching it a lot more so it don't snap when it buds just in case.

They look pretty "leggy" to me, how much direct sunlight are they getting? And how old are they?

Your plant looks to be about 14-16" tall. It should be "thick" with leaves by that size instead of a few wide spaced leaves. I don't think you're getting enough sun for dense growth, just enough to make it stretch and want more light. Can you trim down some of the surrounding growth to let more sunlight in? That would help a lot!
Full sun - all day - makes for a happy plant!

I choped off a canopy branch, hopefully that will help im gonna try to cut on some other trees tomarrow when I can see where the light hits.

Ive got another question, ... I moved my compost bin to block light from my porch, but its not quite wide enough the tip of a couple fan leaves is getting light. This doesnt matter right? As long as the nodes are dark? Thank you for the help :)

Good work! The more sunlight the better!!

The light recepter organs (thousands of them) are on the surface of the leaves, so yeah, it matters. But by the time the days get closer to 12 hours you should be able to figure out something. Also, how about light that "Leaks" out through windows and stray car headlights - are they shielded from these as well?

Yea, theyre fine form the other stuff cause theyre by an old stone wall. Im just really stumped on how to block the light from the porch cause theyre really close. What ever I use has to be a normal object easy to move, not an eye sore and unnoticble
