people come from all different walks of life, everybody is different, you can't tell people off because they dont fit into a certain category, if they need to do something special to be in this category of people which includes not smoking and eating organic raw vegetables, then they wouldn't fit anyway, so they wouldnt be giving you a bad name
This isn't a one size fits all you know. I'm sure people have a good reason for their life choices (well they should) and if it does not real harm then it's cool.
I think its pretty simple. Not all people eat organic veggies because they are healthier but because organic farming is't as bad for the environment. I know most cigs are packed with chemical firtilizers and other chemicals, but what if someone were to smoke say an american spirit organic cig? Don't forget that for many people hippydom is a metamorphosis that occurs somewhere between high school and college and they could have been addicted to tobacco before they were hip. I know lookin arround at festivals a HUGE portion of hippys smoke cigs and I don't hold anything aginst them, I just feel sorry for them.
Well, from the 'wanting to be healthier' standpoint, it is usually easier to switch to organic veggies than it is to quit smoking. Any one who has ever tried to quit smoking can attest to that. Everyone is different...people have different sets of ethics and standards. I mean, isn't being a "hippie" simply about being yourself? It's not about CONFORMING to a set of so-called principles that someone thinks a "hippie" should be. How boring is that?

To answer your original question, I only eat meat that comes from organic farms because I don't want my soul to have the negative energy with the production of said meat.
