not everyone has a fair chance cause the raiding is pretty difficult. Getting 40 people organized was not to easy and if you wanted the good gear you had to raid and not every guild was good enough to do raids.

But how did you get gear and shit in EQ?

 

you joined lower end guilds who would go on lower end raids, or save up and buy gear

everythin about the original EQ was better then WoW in my mind, if i dig up my old screenshots i'll post em up

 

ahh so it wasnt based on drops then, wow is doing that now with some of the really good gear.

 

no no, it was still all about drops in EQ

some very low level mobs dropped incredible stuff, but VERY rarely

then big raids u had awsome drops, or peices needed to complete your Epic quest, which usually ended up in a weapon or a full suit of epic armour

early on i kinda cheated and used high lvl guild members to get some peices of my epic armour when i was only like lvl 20 lol

 

i built my computer all by myself. And it works really well. but it just randomly shuts off sometimes. I think its because I have a bootleg copy of windows though.

how do u guys with illegit copies of windows update your copy?

after installing XP on mine, it's verified my copy like 4 times during the updates

 

I have an enterprise edition that never needed to be activated because there is not a liscnese limit on it.

I have my computer fully updated and it stays that way.
