this seems like a silly time to be worrying but on second thought..

ok so when you get packs of birth control you can get a full 28 pills with like a week of sugar pills that dont have horomones in them right, well what if you happen to forget to take all but one of them? like at first I didnt worry about it - and really I dont have much to worry about because I havent been having sex lately - damn ToM - so like its no big deal, but for future reference, if I miss those is it going to do anything to me consequently? well like I wouldnt think so as they dont have any horomones in them and I think their only purpose is to help you remember to take them (but clearly that doesnt help even me ) so like yea, just double checking..

haha alright, this is what I thought - I know about double dosing when you miss, its just that I kno it will affect the effectiveness of the pill, which seems redundant really. I'm totally going to get the shot or patch instead - so much easier for my forgettful self

 

if you are susceptible to hormones (ie you get more moody when on the pill, etc), dont go for the shot. even i was crazy moody on that and im not terribly sensitive to hormones. i also gained a lot of weight while on it. it can make some women bleed teh whole time theyre on the shot too which is a little worriesom. i think youd be better off investigating the patch or that nuvaring thing, as they release the same hormones as the pill just throuhg a different method

 

awesome - today I went to renew my pill pack thinger and I asked about the patch and they gave it to me instead!! well actually I asked about the shot too, but the nurse said exactly what you above me just said, so yea and I have the patch, and I'm wearing it right now!! aah *excitement*
