Hey everyone on this site thing! I am new to this was just searching for a photo and came accross this website but im sure ill get along with you all just fine as we are all like minded and here for similar reasons! Im 22 yr old f from Australia! I have recently been to Cairns as mum sent me there for a 21st bday prez and she wanted me to go where she used to hang out... she was in a commune in Cairns in CAPE TRIBULATION. to my suprise after going into places with "PRIV PROPERTY" i still went in to the old houses in the rainforest..met some rad people that KNEW my mum!! i was amazed... one old dude lived on the land n owned a house where the commune was raised and built...mum left when the police did the blockade!! the hippies from the commune were pushed out n off the beach..i found a shack on the land that resembled what she said.. and the guy said i was in the right plce cuz he lived there at the time n still does he is about 60 now.. and it was the shack he built tin roof and stuff around it to protect it!! it had the cement bench like mum said where she used to cut up fresh veg from garden, make own milk and youhgurt even had cows, chickens and goats and would bater with the fishermen !! FAB LIFE STYLE we are going back in sept this yr i wana show mum i found it and we are actaully aloud to camp on the ground where the commune was how fkn amazing .. excuse the french! had to put emphises on that one! so my mum is one of the original aussi hippies from the 70s in CAPE TRIBULATION commune... More about me... im just a chilled out laid back chick who loves nature animals helpin ppl the beach camping and a good drink n smoke! well PLEASED TO MEET YOU ALLL.... xxx
Hello and welcome to the hip forums. As you will notice, there are a fair few forums to go on. I am no expert but you will soon find yourself at home with one particular forum. Hope you do come on to the Uk forums sometime. Too be honest, the higher forums seem to be more engaged, where as the ones on the bottom rarely get anyone. Although quite a few do pop in down there. I hope you won't be discouraged if you find nobody has not answered your threads in Australia forums. Additional: As summer comes ever nearer, I am very eager to get my bike fixed so I can go for a few rides along Greenwich and the surrounding countryside.
