clear bra straps?

i bought a bra today and it came with clear straps. i dont get it though, you can still see them so whats the point? i guess its to not show a brightly colored strap, but some people actually pay extra for those. mine came with it but i dont think id ever use them.

i dont' like my bra straps showing either, but thats part of my humiliation

 

i hate the feeling of plastic against my skin. ugh...

 

it's so you can paint them whatever color you want, duh!

 

I'm not a fan. They look kind of trashy to me.

 

I once bought a bra with clear straps to make it less noticable underneath a certain outfit I owned. The damned hooks holding the strap part to the bra were plastic too...Usually, they are metal..
So, I'm out at dinner with friends...I coughed kinda hard (wrong pipe)...Fucking plastic pieces broke, bra shot halfway out of my top right there at dinner...
I think they noticed the bra. :&

 

Might work under a sheer sort of blouse I guess, but yeah if they're showing then you might look like you have made some make shift zip lock bag straps.

 

If you want to become Miss RT 2007 you must respect rule # 4 in the hippie manual which states “all hippie chicks must go bra-less”

plastic straps can be a real pain if you use them for too long... trust me.

you know, my mom never wore a bra, and none of my girlfriends ever did either, at least not all the time or very often. my mom wore a ton of slips and thermal 'woolies', but no damd bra's. never had a sister or brother. and being a male type person physicly, and not into the crossdressing trip, (and NO, a t-tunic is NOT crossdressing, even if someone who saw me wearing one to an s.c.a. event, and didn't know what that was either, may have thought it was), so i'm pretty completely unfamiliar with the subject.

oh man! i feel for ya (not literally). last summer i wore a bikini top to the lake that had one of those plastic clasps. i shoulda known better. you can't contain size 42DD boobs with a lil' piece of plastic. i don't know what the manufacturer was thinking. yeah, fun huh? nothing like making a spectacle of yourself in an instant.
