Eat poly and mono fats - not gross fats that will just give you health problems. Eating more in general, it actually doesn't matter so much what.. but I guess it mostly depends on your metabolism.
Eat 6 small meals instead of three big ones. Choose nuts instead of chips for snacks. In general, just eat healthier! Peace and love
^^^ Like she said. And lift weights to build muscle and bone, that'll also reduce the risk of osteoporosis, which is higher for small boned women. Eat carbs b4 and after weight lifting so your body doesn't resort to burning the protein in your muscles for energy. Eat also some protein but not too much, high-protein diets cause ketosis, which is what you don't want. When you weight train you actually break down muscle so you must rest the next 24 hrs to give your body a chance to build it back up and than some. You can weight train 2 days and then take the 3rd day off. This will allow you to gain weight where you want it and not just put flab on the belly. Google body training, muscle mass, weight lifting, etc. for more details, I'm still trying to get a handle on all this myself.
She is trying to gain weight eating more smaller meals increases metabolism so weight loss would occur. Just try eating more calories but not high in fat. I am guessing you don't want to gain fat. If you want to gain more muscle eat more protein and carbs. The protein will turn to muscle and the carbs will be burned off. There are lots of websites dedicated to weight gain in health ways.
You have to eat germalyne, korn spring, as a floor, must be found in health shops. and protein and lots of fruits. If you dont have enough weight, it is the healthy way to do it as it will restaure your balance. Dont eat pasta and that kind, floor from spring corn gives not only sugar but all kind of minerals and provitamins B and BB1,2,3 that are needed by the body. Eat salads with olive oil, very green kind, garlic and oignons, who also help the body to restaurate a natural balance. But you didnt said why you need to gain weight..
Slim Fast (I hear Chocolate Royal is the best tasting when cold) with a banana or apple for breakfast. For lunch.. try some fruit, and for dinner a salad and chicken, or whatever else you can find that is non fat to eat. Also go for long walks as much as you can, then when you start losing (if you want), go join a workout place. Good luck !
Honey, did the doctor say you should gain weight? If not, and it isn't doing anything to your health, then enjoy being little. Don't worry, when you get older, you will gain more weight than you want, then you will wish you were small again. My answer is..do nothing and smile, it is more harder to lose the weight than gain it, so enjoy it now, hun.
yeah, that should do it, love.. or better, eat a pig! lol! I think its because guys are so use at girls trying to lose weight that they cant think it could be the opposit problem.. as much as we can be imued of our prejudices that we cant see what is written and hear the opposit, just because we believe it got to be that, and cannot be the other..
Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate the advice. My Doc said it would be good idea for me to gain a bit of wieght, apparantly for my age and height I'm 5 pounds underwieght, which isn't too bad but with my matabolism I keep loseing. Basically I pay no attention to what I eat and I lose, which seems great and all but I know it's not healthy, so he suggested that I start paying close attention to what I eat, and try to gain 10-15 pounds.
i wuold say, possibly even over your doctor, that if you're eating sufficient calories and getting proper nutrition, and feeling fine, not to worry about it. eat right, excercise right, and don't worry about putting weight on. sufficient calories may be more for you than someone trying to LOSE weight, but don't go all nuts trying to cram some pounds on. that's not sustainable either.
You don't always gain weight as you get older. My weight has not changed in over 20 years, basically since I reached adulthood. But everyone elses weight has gone up making me feel like I'm not blending in.
