That unless I ask for a specific day off I'd like to have at least 50 hours a week. This week, I'm working 62. What a mighty fine paycheck this will be. :H
That's badass. Jobs that let you work lotsa overtime are badass. Anyhow... where are ya working? I hope it's not the Micky D's... otherwise I'd have to send Peta over to save your ass.
yeah... overtime pay helps a lot. i have 3 or 4 72 hour weeks coming up on a big project though... I'm not overly stoked about it.
I'm working at two video stores... working at one I could only get about 45 hours, but thankfully the boss is cool. He is also my landlord so he doesn't mind paying me the extra money as he'll be getting some of it back anyway.
Oh man... video stores are great places to work at... a bunch of lazy hippie friends at school work at video stores... I swear... the entire industry is dominated by pothead employees I love it... I can walk into any store, grab as much free food as I want, "borrow" a movie or a game for a couple of months, smoke a joint in the back, and go home... it's almost as great as Frosted Flakes.
It is nice being able to work a lot. I am technically a seasonal employee where I work, so I can work whenever I want. The bad part is, I can only work for half of the year. Working at a beer warehouse has it's perks, too.
Dude I work at a fukken grocery store that is nuthin but potheads cheap high chasers. But then again that's cuz the union's involved. Free connoli oil for everyone... O_O
uhh.. i get to make my own schedule each week.. so i decide on my hours.. and its in the handbook that he doesnt care if we do drugs or drink as long as we come to work sober (although he asked if i was high last week and didnt seem mad.... but i was just abnormally tired, so i wouldnt get fired anyhow)
