If someone left conversations up on a shared computer and either left the house or fell asleep, would you read their conversation, would you consider it or would you never consider it?

Why would I want to read it in the first place?

i've condsidered reading them at times, i've read them at times, and just X'd out on other times...it really depended on who used my computer last.

if it was a younger cousin who went into chat rooms and such and she left them up, then hell yea i'm gonna read them....i learned that she was giving out her address in chat rooms and on AIM to people she didn't even know, and she was just barely a teenager.

but my parents, i X out of there stuff most of the time

I think it might depend on who the person is if I'm even consider reading them or not. I'd like to think I never would though.....

well, you have a reason to be pissed off...but you shouldn't have not expected it to happen

leave something up around a person who you know has snopped around in the past, then yea...

If it was my boyfriend, I would probably read it. If it was one of my friends and they weren't around I would probably skim over it to see if there was any words like, "cock" or "heroin" in it. And if there was, hell yes I would read it.

I myself wouldn't do it, but I know my friends like to dig up stuff to rag on me over, so I usually make sure to close out my IM windows if they're private in any manner.

depends on how well I knew them and if I cared about what they have to say or thier life. In which case..prob. But I wouldnt do anything with the info that was made privy to me through breaking this privacy and implicating myself haha

Not only would I do it... I have... but if it's a friend... no, and I haven't...but boyfriends, hell yes!! I've found out a lot of things and found out how they truely were from simply reading a couple of messages, and the only reason I really did it the last time I did it was cause HE knew my passord and was LOGGING into my shit... that's just stalker like (funny cause I don't have shit to hide, so he had no fun...hahaha).

As much as I'd like to say otherwise, I've had my share of nosiness. I've never been in the exact situation of reading a conversation left up on a computer, but I've been in similar situations involving finding out about computer-related interaction through nosiness *cough adultfriendfinder cough*.
