Oral sex and facial cumshots in porn:distortion of reality or true-to-life depiction?

How common are the following standard porn practices in "real world" sex: oral sex (both from the girl to the guy and vice-versa) and ejaculating in the girl's mouth, face or on her breasts (as opposed to just in the condom, with the penis still in the vagina, which is what seems like the most "normal" thing to me). Judging from porn, you'd think these things are the norm, but I really have no idea how common they are in the real world.


I've only had sex once in my life and it was totally conventional (we were both virgins): missionary position the whole time, no oral, finished by me ejaculating in the condom with my penis still in her vagina; so I just have no idea what's going on out there. I mean, I realize that every person is different and all that, but I'd just like to know what people's thoughts are on this. I also realize that porn is complete fiction and in no way a depiction of reality, but I think it's become so popular that much of what appears in porn has entered or is entering "normal" people's sex lives. I think this is especially true with young people (born from about the mid-80s onwards), because they reached sexual maturity in about the late 90s, so they've had a pretty huge exposure to Internet porn. This brings me onto my next point...

I would think that if a guy were to ejaculate in a girl's face or chest 30 years ago, she would have been horrified, whereas nowadays I'm under the impression that it's common procedure, mainly due to the aforementioned influence of porn. I would think the same goes for oral sex. If I were to go down on a girl or ask her to suck my dick, would she get grossed out and think I was a pervert or would she think I was boring if I didn't do it? The same with the ejaculation - if I were to pull out, take off the condom and cum in her mouth, on her face or on her tits or body, would she freak out and think I was a total sicko or would it be completely normal?

I know that it depends hugely on each person, but I'm just asking as a whole, in general, how common are these practices (among, say, people in their late teens and twenties)? How should one act in a sexual situation? What's the "expected" behavior? I guess I'm just totally clueless about this and don't want to do something "wrong" the next time I'm with a girl. I suppose it's best to play it safe and keep things "vanilla" at first until you get an idea of what the girl is into and then get kinkier (oral, cumshots, etc.) if the girl seems receptive, or just let her take the initiative on all kinky stuff. Am I right? I'd like to have a better idea of what's going on out there, though, so I can take the initiative a little more and be more assertive, without having to worry about committing a serious sexual faux pas. I'm also curious as to the expected order of this stuff. I mean, is oral something people do after making out and before having sex or is it something you do after having sex (since it's considered more "intimate" by some people)?

As for my personal preferences (just so you know where I'm coming from - no pun intended), the thought of receiving oral (I've never had it) appeals to me greatly, but kissing the girl afterwards or giving her oral do not at all (I'm just being honest, I don't mean to piss anyone off).
