So I walked into one of the local Tim Hortens' last night (canada's starbucks but cheaper) and while I was waiting in line I noticed the guy at the cash looked so cool, and I was all nervous about making my order but when I got up to the cash he says "Duuuuude siick hair!". That like made my lifetime right there haha talk about a self esteem boost!

:D I seriously see more dreadheads at Tim's than you'd believe

I'm usually the one giving the compliments :D

I miss my dreads. :( They'll be reborn soon tho :D

i was at timmy hos last night and someone told me my hair looks like a lion's mane. Highest dread compliment there is IMO.

And then last night I was strollin into Canadian Tire (you canucks know what i'm sayin :D ) and all these migrant workers from the islands were crowded outside the store... Then out of nowhere they start shouting "Rasta! Liddle rasta girrrrrlie!!!!" over and over... :D

I have no idea what to make of that ahhaha

So are dreads a chav thing there?

    abseeley-chav ='s guido, if I'm not mistaken.

Ha, well I usually wear my hair up out in public, and I've been told it looks like I just have unruly curly hair...but the other day a coworker asked me what the hell I had in my hair. It took a while to figure out she was talking about my beads.

I did get a compliment the other day when it was down, though. An ollllld old friend I hadn't seen in forever came up and started playing with my hair. Out of nowhere. And said "Ahhh, good girl!" In a sort of 'proud of you.' tone.

chavs are the complete oppisite to me lol. i wear nice baggy hippy-ish clothing with my long dreads etc where-as chavs wear full tracksuits with socks tucked into trainers, they all love football and u only see atleast 50 in a group and usually wen u walk past them they will try n smash ure face in with bottles...as it goes here...

but hey i got dreads :D

dude, i got a compliment at the mall a few weeks ago. me and my friend are there like, once a year and they always remodel so we were kinda lost. i walk up to the security guard and say "hey, where's Dippin' Dots?" and he just stood and stared for a few seconds and was like, "that is some killer hair, man!" it was funny cause i thought he was ganna kill me for a second. anyway, compliments make my week.
