So I have a white mushroom with that's dried and it has brown gills is it safe to take just 1 bite to see if it's psychedelic or not? if it's not psychedelic would that 1 bite poison me? or would I be safe?
First off, where did you get the mushroom? It is a bad idea to try any mushroom just to test it. Also, no one can tell you what kind of mushroom that is with that description. I can think of one kind of mushroom that fits that description that is poisonous, I think its an amanita. But definitely, don't try it, you won't trip, even if it was a psilocybe, you don't have enough of it.

you really need to actualy eat sufficient weight in mushroom in order for toxins to blow out your liver, one tiny shroom probubly wouldnt kill you, maybe put you in a lil pain, where you may think your gonna die, but hey it's all gravey, it just another kind of trip... there are shrooms so deadly a nibble will kill do not ever ever ever try any shroom u are not 100% sure of
watch out for those pesky little galernias, they'll mess up your day really bad. in order to get poisoned by the mushroom you must injest the mushroom, if you dont swallow you can give them a taste. those Death caps taste like portabellos.
Oh my god, no offense, but you are stupid! To find out if it's phycadelic you have to do many things. List: 1) Find out the season and conditions in the area the mushroom was growing in. 2) Find out what the mushroom was growing on 3) Take a spore print and approximate measurments of the cap and stem 4) Check for any signs of bruising on the stem or cap 5) Check to see if the gills are attached or loose 6) Get a full colour description of the stem, brusing (if any), cap and gills 7) Take clear digital pictures of the mushroom on each side so you can see the whole mushroom, the top of it, and underneith it. 8) Ask some shroom experts on the web about it. The shroomery has the best identification people. 9) Don't ever go eating just any mushrooms dude, you have to actually go hunting for them. Farms with cows are the best places to start your hunt.
