hey everyone, I have a question - I live in an apartment, and I dont usually get opportunities to go barefooting on trails, forests, etc, but I love going barefoot, and therefore I sometimes go downstairs to a grassy garden that belongs to our building (and all its residents) - especially after a rainstorm (since I enjoy walking on grass that has wet, squishy mud underneath). do any of you go barefooting alone in situations like this? if you do, what do ppl say if they see you?

Nothing more than I enjoy better than barefooting alone right after a rainstorm. I too live in an apartment complex and enjoy walking along the concrete sidewalks and the small patches of grass here on the complex.

At the present time, none of the residents have said anything negative to me, maybe they think I'm walking back barefoot from the pool, who knows? We are currently in a drought here in the Southwestern US, but our monsoon season is fast approaching, so hopefully I'll have some wet puddles to run my feet through this summer.

People are funny, some make comments, some don't, but give you funny looks. No one in my neighborhood thinks its odd when I'm working in my garden barefoot, but if I step off my property to walk a few hundred yards to the mailbox, people look at me like I've gone crazy.
