The Glass Heart, Cobra Verde by Werner Herzog, Last Year at Marienbad by Alain Resnais, Rocky Horror Picture Show by Jim Sharman, Blue Velvet by David Lynch.
What Happened to Rosemary's Baby was a real creeper for me. Pretty strange because I watched it when I was around 7 so I got effected by it. Maybe if I watch it now it won't be as bad. Also Faces of Death... Wow. Never have I seen such a gross movie. Not much of an odd movie though. Just really really disgusting.
Perhaps the film itself isn't so odd at all but it made me feel that way - a Clockwork Orange. I still haven't understand it completely after watching it for 3 times at least.
oh yeah....my boyfriend worked with a guy that was from that town!!! Creepy...he was an interesing fellow, to say the least...... but that movie really makes you appreciate your quality of life, eh?
I saw that...couldn't stand the guy, didn't like his attitude towards the girls and people around him. =/ And given what his friends said about him...still... Weird movies? Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was pretty weird, erm Being John Malkovich was pretty weird. I love that kind of film. Hmm...Lawnmower man was kinda weird. But I that may just be because it was old...still...not really sure. The first two are probably the oddest I've seen.
something I saw in intro to film a few semesters ago, from 1912. I can't remember for sure but I think it was called "A trip to the moon"
"All That Jazz" directed by Bob Fosse. He was also the director for the Chicago musical back in 1975, that's what the title comes from, along with a quote from the movie. It's very strange, and very quotable!!! i love that. Lots of nudity, too. It's just weird.
Actually, A Trip to the Moon is even older--it's from 1902! And it still kind of fits here, because it is pretty odd... but fantastic.
Pumpkin with christina ricci, its messed up! and Tideland is just like WTF I want my 2 hours back! dont rent tideland, its HORRIBLE, an old man in the beginning has a disclaimer, "you will either hate this movie or love this movie, this is how I see my self. I see myself as a little girl."
