I know that, but saying a crime is worse becuase of color or w/e is rasict itself. A crime is a crime.
I don't agree. There should be harsher punishment for racist/bigot based crimes (which there is). Racism and bigotry are horrible, I hate them. Plus, think about it this way: If a person kills a black person because he is black, then that person is likely to kill someone else because they are black. It's not a one time deal like if someone just hates someone else personally or gets in an arguement and kills them (not justifying this by any means). To get the hate-crime offender off the street for longer is good, IMO.
You really dont understand what I'm tryign to say -_- its ok im high, I'm probably not wording my point in the best way
You are said "a crime is a crime". You were saying that a hate crime is still just the same as the crime they commited if you take out the "hate" part. Also, I don't agree that it's being racist. It's not saying a whole race commited the hate crime or only one race can commit one. It's jsut saying that if you commit one you are in deeper shit because we won't tolerate crimes based on race.
Ok, you get it, but, alot courts don't take it like that. They twist it all around and make themselfs look stupid and fuck people over.
I see it all the time here, they try to make examples and crap. They try to call anthying a hate crime, even if the matter didnt have anythign todo with the persons race.
courts blame race because they want to keep everyone separated. if someone thinks that there is another person of another race out there to get them and their kind they will be paranoid and have a distaste for the other race, its all regulatory bullshit to keep us and blinded from the true enemy... THE GOVERNMENT of the USA!
Lol it kinda made sense...but im high too lol. Anywho, the government isn't the enemy (well mayeb the current administration). Sure there are problems with it, but there are good things too. If you think of the government as a person, it has flaws, it has good points, we just need to help it better itself, and that doesn't happen by saying it sucks and dissing it. I hope that makes sense like it does to me lol
"GREAT idea! I'd be willing to fight for an idea like that." It does seem pretty good and fair if I do say so myself. I don't know of any politicians with similar ideas though. It's not really the right political climate at the moment. However, I am looking to go into law and politics. So if no one takes care of it first, I certainly will.
Haha, again budtoker, I agree. If we don't like something we have to work and change it, instead of just complaining about it.
I'm looking to go into medicine so I could be the Doc which supports your case. I could do studies and what not, and give people the TRUTH about what the drugs actually do and don't do to you. We should do it! Change only comes when people are willing to fight for it. ALL YOU STONERS AND DRUGGIES OUT THERE SHOULD JOIN THE CAUSE!
i like the idea you put forward but the thing is the government has alot of other things they need to worry about and they probably wouldnt put the time and money needed to make this work i really wish they would though that harry anslinger guy looks like a douche and what a stupid reason to make weed illegal
Putting forward a safe, responsible drug policy though that is in line with our constitution would not just be good for the drug community. The entire nation would benefit. Let's face it; the so-called war on drugs has failed. Our jails are overflowing with people who truly aren't dangerous to society. That right there is a major drain on state taxes. So besides having fewer people in jail, drugs would be a taxable good. Our government needs as much funding as it can get. Cartels and other groups that make millions of dollars off of drugs would be out of any serious moneymaking business. The wonders of hemp would be legal. Not only that, but addicts would take a huge plummet because they could only buy so much of a substance. (Proven chemically addictive.) If instead of preaching doom and gloom about drugs, our government invested money into safe, responsible use, there would be fewer instances of drug abuse. And I know there are more. There are dozens of intelligent people on these forums that can add to these ideas. I know I’m missing some. If we put our minds together, we CAN change things.
Exactly man! Good CAN come of it if we ban together and work on it. Nothing is impossible (well not this lol)!
