I'm socially incompetent with people I've never met, a rather large nerd, around my friends I'm crazy and animated, but can switch to very very quiet.

On the whole I'm weird like most of the rest of humanity is, I just wish I wasn't so socially inadept.

you're only weird if you or someone esle thinks so, and if you try to be like the mainstream people then they will notice you for not being your original self and will brand you weird or weirder than before, so you can't win. Don't try.

BORN WEIRD TO BE WEIRD?

 

That's a question I've always pondered. Is it worth trying to act normal just so you can gain a large network of friends and people who like you? Even if you could pull it off, would you enjoy your new friendships, or would it suck having to be with people who are nothing like you and you've always got to work hard at keeping up the pretense? On the other hand, is it worth being ridiculed for exposing yourself to be the weirdo you are?

I'd prefer the latter myself, but I still wonder now and again.

 

I have a weird sense of humor and live a bit of a weird life style and I am proud of it. But I am probably the only Canadian that doesn’t like hockey and a lot of people find me way weird because of that. Some times I figure I should get a Canucks shirt and fake it - to fit in better. Cheers!

We are the eclectic hippie witches'....parents of six children...our home and lifestyle is unique in every way....trust me....lol...but I love it and life!

 

I'm weird and proud of it. I don't conform and I'm a lot of different things to different people. I can fit in with lots of different people but I also find a lot of these don't have an awful lot in common with me. I'm a personality mongrel and I believe this is weird. And I'mproud of it.

I am weird and proud, so weird, i use tin foil like a freind to scramble the mans microwave radiations. I have heard, from nearly everyone in this area, i am weird, i am one of the only rainbows in this area, as i said. do you hear me big brother? i wont follow your commands! bad trip man....

i taste, hear, and smell color.(i refuse to buy fruit punch, red tastes gross):/.
i wear what i want, and i dont care if it matches or is even weather-appropriate.
i dance and sing loudly in public.
i wear light up goggles in class.
ive worn a toga around town, waving a plastic pirate sword at cars.
my mind makes NO sense.

I guess i'm weird but i'd more describe it as crazy.

First in my school i didn't have many friends and i was too shy and quiet but now i have like 3 best friends and loads of mates simply because i am crazy and confident and i can make my mates laugh so they like hanging around with me. (even tho i'm technically unpopular)

If i was normal then i doubt they would like me nearly as much.

 

i have been told i am weird on occasion. i really don't care if people think i'm weird...as long as i get what i want from them.

 

I go out of my way to deviate from the norm and I take pride in being an individual

I'm weird, and proud of it! What's normal anyway? There may be only one person in the complete wide world who fits into all the 'values' of our culture, and that person, being on his own, is weird. Normal seems to be the way everybody is. If everybody would be the same the world 'd be a very very lame place. And culture is different, values are different in every country, so it's really hard to find someone totally normal if you think about it....oh well..I'm standing out a lot, people call me a weirdo, but I don't care, because being normal is boring. *breathes* so, I said it. I am supposedly weird because: I have dreads, wich is weird to a lot of people. I sit everywhere I want, even in the middle of a road. I randomly start laughing at any given time because I'm thinking of something funny, and I wear a lot of stuff most people don't, etcetera...

 

I couldn't be normal if I tried.
If the whole world wore tie dyes, I'd probably wear suit and tie.
