beacause i dropped out of high school around the turn of last year so i don't know if i'd be eligible to go into a university.maybe i'll try some kind of technical degree
So instead, you want to come over here and go on jobseekers allowance... Hmmmmm what a great idea... :applause:
is it not a good idea?are you trying to be sarcastic and try to discourage me from trying? if so you need to sort that out all i was doing was aking a few questions ,i wasn't asking for you to be a fucking little **** about the subject,if you weren't being sarcastic and an asshole then i apologize.
I was being sarcastic and I've also reported your personal attack. I don't see why we should have to fund you when you're not even from the UK. And to take the piss even more, you're coming from the states, so we shouldn't have to provide any support for you whatsoever. Surely your OWN COUNTRY can do that for you. Whenever I'm abroad for longer than a holiday, I have the decency to make sure I have a job so that I can support myself. It's fucking rude to go to a country and instantly expect their government and people to support you. Anywhos, I doubt you'll even get citizenship, so I don't think we've got too much to worry about.
You won't get into our country with that attitude. You may get a bottle cracked over your face though.
He'd better get used to people being an ARSEhole to him here, it isn't as though we'll warm to the accent and welcome him with open arms.
a personal attack ,did i bring down your self esteem that much really? Surely my country does that for me,whats the matter with an american moving to england what do you think im a hick? if i really did perturb you that much that you have to report it as a ''personal attack'' i apologize for it,im not here to fight with anyone im here to make friends and ask a few questions. But chill out it's not like the one of me is going to come into your country bleed the system dry i think the english goverment is better prepared than that. your country makes the decisions in this matter and if i do get granted citizenship i will work not just depend on the goverment. Once again sorry if did make you upset in anyway im not that kind of person man.
You should stop being so selfish and thinking about yourself. Of course if it was just one person, it wouldn't really affect us that much. The problem is, it isn't just one person. We get people like you coming to our country and trying to milk us dry all of the time. Every day of the year pretty much.
*Yawn* I don't want to sound like tonight is just personal attacks etc but you're sounding like you have been reading the Daily Mail too much. Talking about people coming to our country and 'milking us dry', it's pretty boring. Let them in, open the gates and see how much 'damage' it really does our country... We need to stop blowing up little brown kids before we even start thinking about criticising those who come to our country looking for a new life, be they immigrants or asylum seekers. phflhippie, you are more than welcome here, come and sign on if you can and that's what you want to do... I personally think there's better things you can do and you won't have to waste your skills on sitting on your arse but... Deal has a lot of large illegal psychedelic trance parties in the forests surrounding that area so that's prob. where your mate got his tales from.... Big one next weekend, can't wait... Love from the UK
been around Brixton. Don't forget the Brixton riots. Some idiot was selling paving slabs to the rioters.
And what is your experience of LA? Yeah, compare those Brixton Riots to the Los Angeles Uprising in 1992...Sorry, but your claim that Brixton is worse than LA is totally ridiculous.
Alright Mum. I remember some brief trip to L.A when I was about 14. Now at the time, it was 1996. It was the year of many interesting beats and the summer heatwave affected both sides of the great Atlantic. My first impressions of the youth in L.A was that they were not just standing around. They were engaging in basketball or trading in substances I know little about. Mostly American baseball or basketball trading cards. I realised that American movies only exagerate Los Angeles dark passages. Sure you would be a fool to wander around at night alone on some potential gangs turf, but day to day, it is far less intimidating than doing a bit of market shopping in Electric Avenue. Brixton is notorious for being a hotspot for excessive violence. Infact the police have to have ten policeman to jump on some youth causing trouble. Not just black youths, but from any ethnicity who is a local of Brixton. Even the bus drivers of the P4 are scared stiff doing the late run. Sure there are worse places than Brixton, but in London, Brixton has a bad reputation. Far from myth and literally as close to the truth as jam is to bread.
I still fail to see how you can compare a city of 3.8 million to a small region of 280,000. Los Angeles is a HELL of alot bigger than Brixton, and has a far higher crime rate on sheer amount of people. You say it's as close to the truth as jam is to bread, but it's about as comparable as jam is to bread as well...You can't possibly make a comparison on it.
The Southeast of England is much more densley populated than the rest of the uk. The best place to enjoy the summer is by going to the South coast. This is typical of Britain to have much warmer weather down south. The weather in britain is generally changing. It can be raining, snowing and or something else. It is due to geographical elements but also because we are a small island surrounded by ocean and get lots of different weather formations. Best place to get some tan, Brighton and Hove City. Recently there has been some refurbishment made to the seafront. You will find the usual shingle. There will be many people there. Best sandy beach is Bournemouth. Have you got any nearer to being a citizen yet or is it still at dream stages? If you feel passionate about moving here, best pursue your ambitions, rather than let them simply be a massive map on a bedroom walls with lots of pins stuck in to countries or places in britain and europe you want to see. Suggestion: Go here as a tourist first, see if this country is okey. Travel a bit to get a taste and then decide. If you don't get citizenship. Try applying to France. Connections to britain are very good.
In France they have the Metro system. it is basically a take on a modern subway train but with proper tire wheels. It runs smoothly and goes underground and above street level. In france, you have over 300 cheeses to choose from and Paris is infact the most romantic place in the world. Get an Eiffel of that. Once I got sick on top of the Tower. Went shopping next day to look for Now thats what I call music 30. They are way behind in uk music charts Cest la vie
