Have you ever been in jail, incarcerated,
or held by the police etc. agaist your will?

 

Yep- DWI when I was 22. I made stupid choices and got what I deserved.

Age 15 me and my buds stole 21 golf carts and played smash em up derby all night. We're ratted out a couple weeks later, went to jail for the night, and each of us had to pay restitution of $2200.

 

Jail for a couple hours.

My mom came and got me.

 

I've spent a few nights napping on a metal rack.

 

I am afraid to answer on the grounds that it may curse me, but nope

 

technically my jail stint wasn't jail since I should have never been there, I'm sure you have all done way worse things than I ever did.

I have tickets that are around a year old. I need to pay em off so I can get a passport, and it'll probably be easier to stay in jail for two days then to pay the rather large fines.

I'm fight hardening. It'll be easy enough. Or I could just pay, but it's quite a bit.

 

Well, maybe not. According to travel.state.gov, only federal warrants are generally grounds for denial of passports.

Anyone know about this? I'm certainly not going to pay the piper if I don't have to.
