I really regret what I did today, lost a change at a GORGEOUS chick.

Ok so I'm at the animal shelter trying to get a cat. Well I go through the door, and see this GORGEOUS girl walking with her mom, she was about 17, around my age. Well anyways, I walk by her only to hear her whipser "The guy is SO cute!" to her mom.

Now it was kinda loud, actually to the point where she actually WANTED me to hear her, but im not sure. Anyways, it was obvious she was referring to me, since we were the only two people there.

Ofcourse me being greek and all, my mom grew up in a different culture than I, so she thinks dating at my age is a bad thing (don't make insaults please, it's just how she grew up)

So that's what stopped me from saying at thing, I didn't even bother to look at her and smile, let alone say anything to her. Now I truly regret what I did because I could have gotten involved with her and possible even gotten her number! Anyone else been in a similar situation before? I feel like I'm a worthless peice of trash. Because seriously, how many of us gets a chance to date a JAW dropping, heart melting chick like that?

 

Dude, don't be too hard on yourself. First of all, she thought you were cute. That doesn't mean she loved you. Not saying the attraction wasn't a good start, but you didn't necesarily let your future wife walk on out the door.

Second, I bet hundreds of girls have thought you were cute, and you didn't notice. Now you know you're attractive. Take the compliment and use the confidence to ask out another girl you find interesting and attractive.

At 16, you have plenty more opportunites. Who knows, maybe you'll run into this girl again and get a second chance. Whateverhappens, just be comfortable with yourself, respect the women, and you'll find a keeper.

Its not that it was just some average girl, it was a SMOKING chick, im talking this chick was one of those you could just stare at all day, and I usually dont hook up with those, very few guys do I guess. Plus its just the way she said it i guess "hes SO cute" lol the so sounded emphasized

Dude, it happens. I have been guilty of this my whole life. Sometimes you just dont realize a girls signs until afterwards when it is too late. You will see a girl looking or saying something under her breath, but you are thinking about something else or in a daze, and then a few seconds or minutes too late it dawns on you. Or, it could be just a look or mumble with no bread behind it, but you never know?

 

Man, I am going to point out the obvious here. You were in an animal shelter. What do girls say about animals all the time. Yep you got it that they are cute. The reason she said it loud is because she wasn't refering to you. Just my take, get over it.

lol umm, well she did have this bigass smile when she saw me, it was obvious it was towards me. And plus we were in a hall that leads to the animals, there were no animals there. Plus she said that GUY is cute not dog lawlz.
