    Well it looks like the group is going to be called simply "UK". I'm into short group titles, makes life easy! :)

    The group feature will work a bit differently. Not quite sure what it will entail, but it should give us new features that will enhance us as a community....

    This sound like a great idea, just one question.

    I am technicaly as member, as I have posted over 100 times. but I heard something about only signed up epople using it, so set me straight, as an unsubscribes member would I be able to use this new and shiny feature.

    Havent got any ideas for a name, used up all my creativity today.

    Everyone just needs to signup for the new group & get approved like before. There are no restrictions planned, anyone can join, even if you're not from the UK.

    But if you guys want restrictions, you'll have to decide that. You might also want to put together some rules for the group that would indicate any restrictions on membership or participation (ie: you must be a forum member - not guest - to add content to the group's page).

    All of this will become clear when we launch the group page, sometime next week. :)

    Until then there's not much point asking questions, cause seeing is believing.

    I do want to add one thing. I was going to do this a long time ago. But when I saw that the UK forum went to shit, I gave up on the forum.

    But now you've come back in force, and in my opinion you are the biggest and best community on this site, so I'm working my ass off to make this happen now. You've earned it! :)

    In addition I enjoy having you Brits here because you do add a much needed bit of sanity and intellectual stimulation to the site.

    BTW, I was very impressed with the British protests against the Iraq War, something my fellow countrymen were unable to match. It's too bad you had to suffer Blair all these years, but believe me, it's not nearly as bad as suffering Bush...

    Yes you'll be able to use it and it will be free. You just ask for membership to use the new features and I should be able to approve it, if this feature works as the old membership group did. Either way, you should be able to use the main UK forum anyway....

    Well I don't know too much more than you guys, but as I understand it, it'll be like a landing pad for the UK Community, a mini-homepage/website, kinda like a little Hippy.com....
