the problem with astrology is that it works. and , for me reading about my sign, acendent, moon sign, all the houses and everything else, concerning my past present and future, just makes me part of my destiny. I have a new plan for my life: escape destiny.
eydis, It may very well be that you "think" that it works, that you want to believe (newbie, "noob," stage.) As you get more and more into it, you are presented with a view of the future. Then the question becomes one of how one should react and whether or not your world view is changing. Sometimes knowing the future is a bitch. In case you want to know: I have studied astrology for over 25 years and have throw away much, preferring now to just look at solar and lunar returns and eclipses. (The solar eclipse of March 18 was a bitch! (28.07 Pisces). It deeply influenced me 5 days prior. I always tell me family to be very careful one to two weeks prior to an eclipse. My next major event will be September 11, 2007: 18.25 Virgo. Saturn will go from Leo to Virgo on September 2, 2007, meaning that the best time for me to get the new job that I desire will be August 6 to September 1.) But that's just me.
