cos i was thinkin bout doin this with some of my messed dreads but can u wrap ones with bit loops in them? wouldnt it turn out weird...ach well i mite try anyway.

    cheers

Im sure you could use twine if you wanted to, but Id probably go for something softer, wool or hemp (if you can find hemp). Bsaicly yeah tie at the top, wrap around then tie at the bottom. Once you tie it at the top, make sure to do a few wraps over the tie to lock it in. Also try tieing some parts more tighter/looser than others, and leave some spaces for hair to be seen, gives it some character and variety you know. Good Luck!

aye kick ass. but does it work on dreads with loops? or do you just leave the loops open and wrap the rest lol

It actually helps the loops get sucked into the dread. Kinda smooths them down.

I hated my hemp wraps though. They took forever to dry and felt sticky when they got wet...so I reccomend either taking them out before you wash your hair next or holding a hair dryer to it for...oh...an hour?
