Ever heard the expression to "slip someone a mickey"? Roofies/rufies is slang for the date rape drug: it's odorless, and people can drop it into your drink without you knowing it. You get really dizzy then pass out and don't remember anything. It's the most disgusting thing I've ever heard of. You learn a lot of habits to avoid roofies when you go away to college.

 

Same here. I really can't stand him anymore. Or even just looking at him.

its the kind of music everyone gets interested at first ... especially the "hippies" in here thinking "awesome, a new hippie... i love him"

but dammmmmit man... those are the worst lyrics ever... and for his music, wtf?
a few catchy tunes , but after a while, they're all played in the same way ...

catchy at first, but redundant and dull is really what it is.

His music is fresh and unexpected, even if his lyrics are nonsensical. So were Phish lyrics, but I used to love the whole Phis phenomena. I just like how much of a character he is.

To me, his music is a like a weird conversation about modern art put into song form.

 

You just need to have an open mind, thats his own style, his lyrics are art man, just because they don't mean anything to you, doesn't mean they don't mean anything to anyone else. I can see how you think its redundant, but thats just his style. I'm sure he'll come out with some new stuff. Have you heard he is collaborating with beck on beck's new album?

 

yeah, i still like him. his music is interesting, and his voice is unlike anyone else's i've heard..
