You mean in relation to law and order? I'm not especially offended by his reference to the sixties. Yes, there was a lot of liberalisation, but it comes as little surprise that a man with such an authoritarian style as Blair would seek to suppress it. It's not important how he views the 60's, what is important is what is to come. Are we going to see a further encroach into our freedoms? We have, perhaps, one of the most fascist Home Secretaries in quite some time. We live in troubled times, rife with war, the threat of terrorism, the violation of civil liberties. We can but choose upon which grounds to stand and which battles we must fight. The defence of civil liberties, I feel, is a worthy cause to fight for, and the moment we stop, is the moment we've lost them altogether....
