Have you had a headache around this time? Sometimes when I get a migraine, after it goes away it still hurts in an area when I move my head around. If it lasts though you should see a doctor.

Just go get it checked out. ASAP. Don't mess with your vision.

Glad it stopped hurting. But, be careful. I had one eye hurt for a while. It wasn't very painful, but it hurt. It hurt for about 3 weeks then stopped. Then, the vision in that eye changed, suddenly there were a lot of floaters [dark spots, like ink dots], and that eye flickered like a projecter. Also, when I moved my eye from right to left there was a golden light trail [almost like LSD, or lightning], then that eye started to have flashing colored lights [also very much like LSD, or lightning]. At that point I had it looked at. I had a detached and torn retina, which would eventually lead to blindness. Needless to say I had surgery. Some of the symptoms I listed are still there, and are probably permanent, but my eye sight is saved. WATCH FOR ANY CHAGE IN YOUR VISION. If anything like I've described occurs, HAVE IT LOOKED AT IMMEDIATELY!!!!!

At your age, detached retina shouldn't be a very likely problem. But be careful. Detached retina is often caused by a hit, or bump, to the head at any age. That's how mine occured.

I hope your problem was just something like sinus realated, sinus pressure often causes discomfort in eyes. But be watchful of that eye for a while just in case.

if i were you i would go for an eye examination just in case and mention the fact you've had a pain in the eye. then go and see a doctor, this will help in any diagnosis.
