Fennec Fox, day after i made this mug, i was watching Discovery Channel, ad i see this adorable little fox and i was like "MOM! Thats the creature on my mug!" up till that day I had never even heard of the Fennec fox, so i was amused

very nice! id also like to know what technique you used.

 

no wheel for it... it was a piece of clay rolled flat and then cut to the correct size rectangle, my teacher had a pattern. then it was stamped- stood up and made into the mug shape. the face was added after that and then a bottom and the handle were added.

 

that's really cool. the face looks like a lemur too
