So i have been in spanish in school for god knows how long now, however when i get a chance to speak to people that are native speakers, many times they do not understand the vocabulary i use or i do not know some of the words that school doesnt teach. so i was inspired to make a thread about real spanish vocabulary so that i as well as others can better converse with native speakers! i will start with a couple words that i know- tomar- to drink (alcohol) barracho- drunk pinche- fucking ok i am sure i know more but i will think of some later!
Hi, Yeah, usually teachers teach bookish Spanish that no one talks. My wife learned real Spanish at www.esaudio.net. They even give you a free lesson to try their system. It really works. In less than three months she could communicate quite well. Hope it helps. Carlos.
