It's just the hair knotting at different speeds.. They usually even them selves out alot, i used to have 3-4 really bad ones and they just sorts evened out and went away.

And besides.. it's the inperfection which makes your locks unique to you!

i thought loops were a good thing?
I hate when people say something is "wrong" with their dreads. that's like saying "this dirt isn't dirty enough. it's wrong!" dirt is dirt, no matter how you look at it & dreads are dreads no matter how you look at it...unless they're fake felt dreads...then they're not dreads. loops happen with dreads. my head is covered in loops & bumps and things i dont even think have names. i like to play with them. I even have a giant hole in one of my dreads. What the hell is that about? who cares! That's the magic!

I have a lot of dreads (congos..) that have two tails. :)

And loops. Lots of those...I love it. And flat dreads, and dreads that are both flat and round, and dreads that are tight, dreads that are loose...

    One big happy family.
