    I've heard it said there is a secret room,
    Where the union of heart and flesh's achieved,
    Where all the lost things are to us returned.
    The healing intimacy of the womb,
    The gentle peacefulness of the leaf-paved tomb,
    And within our own desires we are burned,
    An exchange occurs, both given and received.
    Our new-found beauty, now our souls can bloom;
    So tell me that we can return to here,
    To what we most truly, nakedly are,
    Accepting fully the joy, hope, and fear.
    Pray, never let me find that door ajar,
    For you to worship when we are apart,
    Would destroy all my flesh, my soul, my heart.
