    Thoughts? Opinions? Worships? haha

I personally find his music to be the most relaxing to smoke to.

He was supposed to play in Birmingham last October but the show was cancelled, and I wanted to go so bad. He inspired me to get a sitar that I'm determined to learn...one day :)

There is a series of recordings of his live shows through the late Sixties that are really sick, with master Allah Rakha on tablas. There is always an extended Tabla solo in 10 cycle played between the first and last Ragas which are all classic. If you can find Live in Monterey, Woodstock, San Fransisco, London, all of those are bomb. Much more intense in a live setting than isolated in a recording studio. good shit.

If you like the sound of Ravi, and also happen to be a fan of either advant garde or free jazz, check out Alice Coltrane (yes the widow to John) stuff with Pharoah Sanders. AMAZING, trust me, I would not lie to you friends :D
