My Dad was telling me about a woman he met today, and that she had a strange piercing on her chest. I assumed he meant a surface piercing, and I described what that is to him, but he said it didn't come back out of the skin, as in a barbell. He said it looked just like a normal earring stud that was just stuck in. Has anyone heard of this before, is it like an arrow inside.. doesn't come back out? I tried googling it, and just went in circles! I couldn't find a website that has all possible piercings on it, so if anyone knows of one, could you post it for me? Thanks!
sounds interesting. There are some people out there you will find that have piercings unlike any other! It's interesting what you can come up with when you get outside of the box and out of common practice. The mind has many amazing ideas cooped up and stuck behind the norm!

You may also be referring to "dermal anchorings"... They're a jewel that is inserted beneath the skin. They look like this: They do come out, but I imagine it's painful and the one's I've seen have been bloody. :&

wow, those bmezine pictures look rough! I would hate to have that thing under my skin. But, I guess it's not much different than a bar with two ends!
It should also be noted that it might have been a transdermal implant, but not likely. Dermal anchoring pretty much looks the same, but the procedure is a lot easier and less invasive.
