Any one who composes music out there?

I just want to know who out there composes music and what type. I have been writing orchestral arrangements of old classical music but putting a rock sound to it. I want to hear your ideas also.

 

Dude that sound awsome. What instument do you play- I assume guitar because of your username? I try and compose, ocasionaly making a few riffs and stuff but havent actualy made a whole song. Do you use somekind of software or do you just remeber it in your head?

 

I compose classical mostly but I also write some jazz and blues pieces.

 

I play a lot of instruments. Guitar, piano, organ, a little drums, Contrabass, and more. I use finale to write my music. you can download notepad (one of finale's products) for free if you want.

 

I also use finale. It is a great program.

I have finale 2007 I love it because I write for some many different kinds of groups that I can do it all in the one program.

 

I compose music alot. Mainly progressive rock...

I use industrial machinery to produce sound also a surgeon friend of mine has taped sounds of peoples internal organs for me -

 

I used to love sitting on my own with Logic or Reason (or both) software and sequencing tunes. I write all sorts, but they usually take a dance/ambient form.
I can play instruments though, so I like to write tunes on my guitar too.
