Macs seem to be so stuck-up.... like people have said in this thread, the Mac Way is the only way regardless of the fact that no two people are going to want their computer to be setup exactly the same.

Mac users aren't "stuck up", we just believe the Mac OS is superior. It's NOT the ONLY way, you could go Linux. Anyway is great as long as it's not Microshaft. Saying Windows is horrible is not stuck up.

My opinion is that Linux == OS X. One is better for some people and the other is better for other people.

Personally, I have an Apple PPC G4 laptop that dual-boots Ubuntu and OS X. I use Ubuntu but my girlfriend uses OS X on it sometimes. IMO both are secure and have differences that balance.

poor windows doesnt get used on anything in my house anymore.

Windows makes really expensive frisbees, especially when I can get a 100 pack of memorex for $10 on sale.

I find it difficult to take seriously your opinion on operating systems when you call what is most likely a cable or T1 connection "some fast form of internet." This is the problem with many Mac fans. They would support it until they day the die and they don't realize that they like it so much because it's either easier or they can't figure out other operating system even if they try.

Saying macs are just better, is ignorant of the wide array of aplications that can be applied to computers, I guarantee you I have done things with my computer that would make a comporable mac crash and burn (well, nt literally, they have sanity checks, but you ge tthe point, as close to a killing poke as one is gonna get)

macs are CRAP for serious math stuff, and I don't mean your calculus homework, I mean brute forcing RSA for fun

Macs ARE superior for video, no problem, concede that, but I don't do video, I never will most likely, I DO game which PC's have more of, and PC's have better hardware for, I play with complex math, because complex math is fun, and brings macintosh computers to their shiny plastic integrated form factor knees

OSX finally fixed most of macs ram problems, but christ, they still kinda wander off, PC's get memory leaks, but that's bad developer work, macs get memory leaks, because they're macs.

there is definitly a place for macs, artistic shit, sure, great, I don't use my computer for artistic shit, I use my hands for artistic shit

macs aren't "just plain better" and saying so is completly misunderstanding the larger scope of the thing, there isn't a mac supercomputer in the world, because they think like PC's
