Hello Andy! I suggest you try http://spanish.online-spanisch.com/spanish/ I'm taking classes there and they are really good. My teacher is nice and she clarified many doubts I had for a long time about Spanish. They offer a free class so I think that would be good for you.

Best way to learn Spanish besides living in a foreign country? Take a class. Check out your community college or something. Also, there's so much audio online that you should listen to that to improve your listening/recognition skills.
