well, my package from the spore vendor came just a minute ago! mycobag with a huge block of 3lbs of ready to use rye berries (holy moly will this make a huge fucking cake! and far more nutritious than verm/BRF!) along with a syringe of ecuadors (go figure considering the other post about EQs!) i'm pretty stoked. bout to go home and get this all ready to go. mmmmm....its been a long time. now i still stand by the idea that cakes are a great way to go, far more economical, and more educational for novices. however, i didnt pay TOO much and just wanted a quick, easy grow with garaunteed results, and also wanted to get a chance to finally try growing with whole grain since i ended up selling off my pressure cooker when i was low on funds once. i'm super excited this is a fucking bunch of grain...i bet this will make some nice fruits!
sorry, probably not going to be any pictures, but i'll see what i can manage with my phone maybe. should be sanitary, i mean its been sterilized under heat and pressure, and its got filters for gas exchange and all that....and i've sure never had a problem receiving bad spores from ANY vendor.
