Why hasn't Jesus came back?

Jesus hasn't come back because it's not time yet. Read revelations, that's when he'll come back. As for the statement "believe what you want"... It's not a matter of me believing in christ, it's a matter of you not believing the truth. Let's say I have an apple in my hand, and I tell you that it's an apple. You then say, "there's no such thing as an apple, you're crazy!" i reply "i have it right here in my hand, it's real!" and you: "fine, whatever, believe what you want". Just because you don't believe that i have an apple in my hand doesnt change the FACT that there is indeed an apple in my hand. Just because you don't believe in Jesus, that doesnt change the FACT that he is real. It saddens me to hear people say things like, "you've got your god, and i've got mine" there's no such thing as "my god" or "your god", there is only God. only one, and he sent his son to earth in the form of a human, so that he could die on the cross to forgive us of our sins. It just doesnt make sense to me that we could all be on this earth just to live our lives, that there is no greater purpose. I mean, think about it, we're all SO SMALL! here i am, one person out of billions of people, on one planet, in one solar system, with the sun, one of trillions of stars. and you're gonna tell me that there's no greater purpose than for us to just roam about for no reason? heh.

 

but wasn't the first climax the coming of jesus?

i just expected that to be what his coming would be but i thought we had to purify poeople down to the last for him to come back anyway? no?

maybe i mixed that up.

 

no, not purify them, just bring the message to everyone so that they have a chance to hear and decide.

 

thought the point was to convert every last one of them and free them from the apparent sin of not bein a christian or just denying god and his works?



the purification thing was a subtle joke by the way....maybe not subtle enough though.

nope. never read that anywhere. i did read a few passages about everyone on the planet at one particular time needing a chance to hear the gospel and decide their stance.

 

I am no more Christian than I am non-Christian. but I know that Christ never left. Jesus was a messenger of Christ. that is what he was; nothing less, nothing more. just exactly that. Christ existed before time, you might say.

 

You keep smoking what you are smoking. Jesus was Jesus Christ. He came here, died here, and was resurected here(verified by many witneses). He said He would be coming back, and I believe Him.

OR... he survived the crucifixion, was snuck down from the cross durning the night, brought to someone's home, got nursed back to health, and the apostles just witnessed seeing him then... except Thomas, who believed he was dead, so they had to force him to come and see Jesus, and lo' and behold, Jesus was still alive... and when he showed everyone his wounds, he had to undo his bandages... so the whole "here are my wounds" thing still coulda happened... of course, this is all just what I believe happened...

Except that the soldiers there at the site were not permitted to leave until Christ was dead. Not to mention the fact that He was burried and had guards present. Three days later Christ was alive. His death was verified, His bureal was verified, His resurection was verified. You keep on making excuses as to why you don't want to believe, I will keep on believing.

Actualy, I have no problem going round and round with people like him. Considering I deal with people like him daily in life and on here. I have been banned 5 times from here for speaking the truth and saying what others don't want to hear. Of course, I don't think I could ever understand his or any others mentality when it comes to them coming in here and arguing with us. For instance, I don't like or or have a care about NASCAR. So, you will never find me watching NASCAR. Wonder why showtime and others come in here if they don't like or believe, or have a care for God and Jesus? It will baffel me always.

I hate to give evidence supporting the christian religion as I am very non religious myself, but they kinda sank a spear into his guts to make sure he was dead. . .

 

yadayadya..blah blah blah...i think thiers pretty simple answer as to why he hasnt come back. it becasue hes dead. and well dead people are dead.

jesus was probably just another lame ass phyco who conned people in to beleiving his version of things. thiers enough examples of this in present day cults to make it seem likly. All religions are just cults that made the main streem, through opresion or other meens.
