I wouldnt want a young nice hippy guy... Give me a slightly arrogant 20year old student who is hot and really masculine, but yet mysterious enough..a future architect or a doctor... And I cant resist a guy who knows maths or physics..thats hot

i dont think an actual hippy would call themselves a hippy to be honest... especially not in this day and age... i find it hard enough now to go for a walk in the forest without paying money... if there were still hippies around this wouldnt happen definately... in our current society we are too bent on goals and the material. finding that perfect job and making the grade, you aren't going to find many true hippies, you just need to find someone who is not average, and they arent going to call themselves hippies i think becuase then they would fit too well with other "hippies" it just wouldnt be right... especially not when the bell rings and everyone returns to calculus... just my opinion, but i dont doubt you're going to find someone you want to be with.

It started with a simple desire...

to find a nice hippie boy.

I'm not going to speak for the person who started it, but since i too would like "a nice hippie boy" i'll explain myself since people are like "AARGH! WHAT'S A HIPPIE THESE DAYS, ANYWAY! AND BESIDES WE SHOULDN'T BE CATEGORIZING PEOPLE... FUCKING IMMATURE KIDS!"

It's an oversimplified statement, to be sure. I'm sure hippie means many different things to many different people; using the word hippie, to me, just signifies that they be the type of person who "thinks outside the box". Someone who fights for humanity. "Nice" and "boy" are not words i think i have to explain.

Sheesh. Way to take it too seriously.

 

okay. well first of all. i live in boulder. its a blessing because no one really gives a shit about how they look really or what they have to do in order to be happy. i think thats seriously the coolest thing anyone could ever need or want in life- the desire to do whatever it takes to be happy. sooo...
i didnt really mean this in a bad way. and since i live in boulder. i KNOWWW there are still hippies everywhere. believe me. i really didnt mean it in a bad way. -sorry.
i just wanted to hear peoples perspectives on love. thats all.

in regards to rasprophecy's reply about my post talking about capitalism, yes that's exactly what i was talking about actually... i just meant we live in such a state where you're not going to find that becuase people have gotten really caught up in everything, especially the kids. everyone is just pushing to that goal... if you thought I was a capitalist, then you didnt read my post well enough.

 

i'm totaly anti capalist anti job totaly free spirit living on love alone kinda guy
& if you think that people are only interested in a future doctor or architech type your wrong
i recently met the 2 loves of my life, aura & sunshine, the 3 of us will be living in a bus soon, & travelin full time, sleeping in a teepee far out in the woods free of all that commercialized crap, & we're very excited about it
why all this negativity?
she knows what she wants, & at least its not based on superficial crap like income or education but on personality & lifestyle
