What a waste of time.... I do not get people who do this. Is there not something else you could be doing? Something constructive?

People come into the video store in which I work and wander around for 25 minutes sometimes, looking at all the movies before picking one. I don't think I could stand living like that, there's so much more to life....

I don't go into any store unless I absolutely need something; in which case I obviously already know what to look for.

    I'm so glad I'm not a hippie :D

I don't see what's so strange about not knowing what movie you want to get before you go into the store. (o_O) You're over-reacting, man. :D

95% movies suck anyways. nothing wrong with browsing around looking for something good

and im glad im not a hippie either. either hippies are way to nice and new agey, or are way to dirty and drug like.

Yeah..... I'm sure I am. :D I've developed a giant hatred for movies since I started working at the video stores. Free rentals were nice at first.... but then I wasted a few too many hours watching movies that simply should not have been made.

Yes! Yes they do! They really, really do.

Are there a lot of those in San Fran?

Next time I watch a movie won't be until June 26th when Black Snake Moan comes out. Oh! And Evan Almighty which will be in theatres sometime in June! YEAH!

I suppose I'm done though. I think I'll go read or something.
    Work is awesome.

whats that have to do with being a hippie? thats more a thing for mall people. thats how the malls/department stores make so much. people go to look around, and buy things they dont need.

Whaaaaatttt!?! :D How can you say that 95% of all movies suck and then say that you can't wait for Evan Almighty? I mean, hey, I think Steve Carell is funny, too, but puh-lease. :D If you're going to do a re-make of Bruce Almighty, at least come up with a slightly different name.

I don't know... I'm loving film right now. Much more than music. I hate music right now. I mean, I love to play it and write it, and I spend hours doing it every day, but I hate listening to most of it. I hate indie music. I hate Pitchfork. I hate people who love indie music... well, no, I don't HATE them, but they annoy me right now. I don't want to find any new artists right now. I don't care about the latest acts. I don't want to go to any live shows. Fuck it. (o_O)

But film is amazing. :D Film makers are the true artists. It's fucking easy to write a song, paint a picture, take a photo, write a story... but imagine writing a story, creating sets, designing costumes, writing music, doing special effects, sound design... all for one final product. I've come to believe that the true artists of the 20th century were the great film makers: Stanley Kubrick, Charles Chaplin, David Lynch, Fritz Lang, F.W. Murnau, Georges Melies, Buster Keaton, etc.

    Eh, whatev's.

I don't like stores... unless it's a book store, or guitar center or some crap like that where I can just come in high and jam on 1000$ guitars.

I like movies though. Netflix rocks my world.

Well.... Its a sequel.... how's that any different from saying "The Godfather II" should have been called something else? I don't think I'm expecting it to be good, though. I just like Carell a lot, and Morgan Freeman is returning as God.

Ha....haha. :D I too cannot stand music snobs who think they know everything.... though I was one once. :D Ahahaha

I watched three too many new releases this past month, all of which freaking sucked major butt. I'm so movied out....

Know what I hate much worse than people doing that?

Going into a store looking for something specific that the place SHOULD have...but they don't. I hate that.

I don't know. :D I just wanted to throw it in there somewhere. Most "hippies" who come into the store don't really seem to think much about living and are against the act of rational, logical thought.

Which, in my opinion, is why they wander around the store high hoping they'll find a movie they somehow missed before.

I'm just mean and have been reading too many George W. Bush biographies. :D :H
