So yesterday morning, on somewhat of a mere whim, I traveled 25 miles to La Crosse for the sole purpose of buying cowboy boots at an antique store. A long shot, I know.... what are the odds of finding perfectly fitting cowboy boots at an antique store, ones which are in a wearable condition? You do not need to answer, for I know that the odds are slim. But alas! One antique baseball glove and a copy of Mario Puzo's The Godfather later, I came across a perfectly fitting pair of boots that look like they've hardly been worn! No more emo skater crap shoes for me! Buahaha! Discuss. :H
no fuckin way i met this girl, and for a good part of yesterday we were looking for cowboy boots. she's really into them and she thought that a pair would look good on me. unfortunately i have big feet, so its hard to find the right ones. looked all over haight and found nothing
I love coincidences. Luckily for me my feet haven't grown since I was 15. Sorry, you have my condolences. Yeah I know I'll have pictures soon I hope. :H
i like cowboy boots that are short (on girls, not boys). they're cute. and, being one who works in "vintage" clothing, i'd say the chances arent THAT slim.
hot damn...those are some nice boots. I'm quite in love with mine, though. They add an inch and a half to me, too. :H
it's sweet that you found a pair! i love boots, i really want a pair of high lace up boots, military style but more goth..
i've got some sick work boots... red lace ups, safety toe, brown leather. haha actually i have like 5 sets of work boots
Everyone should. :H Actually, they shouldn't. I wear cowboy boots because everybody else wears everything else.
Red Wing Shoes.... I love a pair of Red Wings. I still have a pair that are so old, they've pretty much turned a bleached yellowish/white color. They belonged to my great-grandfather. He bought them with money from a malpractice lawsuit... he also bought a Shasta camper, an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, a John Deere, and he put a new modular on the farm I grew up on for the first twelve years of my life. And... the only thing that sets a trailer and a modular apart is an a-frame. Anywho, these are what I'm wearing these days... I got me a pair of Margaritaville sandals that are thatched... sorta with a wicker-chair pattern. They're not on the site anymore, though... And as usual Sperry topsiders and Red-Head topsiders.
