Boys...what do you do when they leave you hanging?

So lately I've taken a certain attraction to this guy i met. I really really like him, more than i've ever liked anyone else. He said he feels the same way, but he has a girlfriend. He talks about her a lot but then turns around and flirts with me. I try really hard not to think about him, and to just move on and find a new person, but i cant help it. I adore him. I love the way he looks at me, the way he touches me. And how he holds my hand when no one is looking. I just want him to be mine. But I cant tell if he really wants to be with me or his girlfriend. He tells me that he really likes me as well, and said he is confused. He even got jealouse when i started talking to his cousin, who he knows i wouldnt do anything with. I dont know what to do. If any of you have any advice please let me know. It's starting to eat away at me.

I would wait until he's not with her any longer. You're young, so waiting will be a short time. I know it isn't the way you look at it, but it is true.

i dont know. thats what i've been trying to figure out. i dont want to push him away so i havnt asked him. I've just been waiting and seeing what happens. I want to give him a chance to figure things out. I mean, i dont want to be with someone who really wants to be with another girl.

yeah i do too. i've been in his situation before. its hard. but it just hurts being the one someone is debating about. specially when i know without a doubt i want to be with him.

 

Jen - tell him he has to choose. He can't stay with his girlfriend and be jealous when you flirt with his cousin. He is selfish and is tormenting you.

 

Maybe he just wants a little somethin on the side? hahah

your situation sounds like marrid guys, they want both..will never drop the one for the other as long as they can have both.

 

My advice to you.. pretend that he means nothing to you, or that you're just not interested anymore.

He'll be forced to choose at that point. Kissing ass doesn't really help.

 

You would think it would be obvious wouldn't you. Better ask yourself if you can take him flirting with other girls if you do get to be his girlfriend.

 

if at 16 he has a girlfriend and he's secretly holding hands with you what makes you think if you were the girlfriend he wouldn't do that to you too??????

 

thank you guys. i've been thinking about this a lot and i have decided that im going to talk to him about it. things are getting more serious and i dont want to be a toy. so im going to bring it up to him and tell him that i want a relationship and im willing to wait. but not forever. If he isnt willing to break up with his girlfriend then im just going to move on. like a few of you said, im still young. This isnt really a life changing thing, even though it may seem like it now.
