because for the first time in what seems like months my bank account is a + rather than a -. god bless overtime pay, danger pay, expense accounts, meal allowances, travel pay, and all the other good stuff.
Yeah. I had money when I cashed checks yesterday. Well sheeit, looks like I'm broke again till next week. I have to sell some rolling papers (I get boxes of them from this cigar shop guy I know who isn't going to stock papers anymore, so he gives them to me for $10-20 a box, when they're $50 new) to make up extra gas money and ticket money for concerts, sometimes. I just keep a box of JOBs or zig-zags in the car, since people always ask me for some at concerts. People usually just give me like five bucks or something, because I'm probably the only guy at concerts with boxes of them. Of coursssse, you're not supposed to do that, but anyone who doesn't let a venue have a lot scene or shakedown can kiss my ass, because I may not be able to get in otherwise. Busking in front of expensive cafes is always nice too. It won't be more than 30 minutes before you have enough to buy a double espresso. Last time I saw col. bruce, some guy miracled me with gold circle tickets, since his guy didn't show up, then one of the sound engineers handed me a beer, when I was chilling with them. I was just going to sit by the soundboard till this guy Kevin got me into the front row.
My work hours are finally being cut back.... from 65 hours a week to 54 or so But I've started busking as well these past few weeks, making an average of $11.53 an hour!!%^&!%!*(!!*(!^&*! Yessssssss. awesomeness
