oh you aren't the only one! i love tony. i really think he's gonna get hit the last show, though. or he's gonna get locked up for a long time or something. why wouldn't they end the show like that?
Yea I agree. I can't really see it ending any other way either. But maybe there's some other ending, no one but the creators thought. Like he tries to leave that lifestyle or something, but I really don't see that happening. I really thought he was gonna whack Pauly last week.
ehh, christopher was dying anyways you think that dude was gonna live he was doing drugs AGAIN i'm really sad though, chris was my 3rd fave.
Since we're on the finall count down, I think we're going to be seeing a lot of funerals. Chris, with him back on drugs was a " loose cannon" and could no longer be trusted. If nothing else the " family " is based on trust. Think I'll have to buy the DVD set of the entire series.......
I like this list by Maxim.com of the hottest mistresses on The Sopranos. It's just a little weird that #4 on the list is Johnny Cakes! Here's the link: http://maximonline.com/slideshows/index.aspx?slideId=3724&imgCollectId=195&src=fc
I could have seen him killing himself, but after the way he reacted after Tony Jr. attempted....i guess not... I have a feeling hes going to keep killing more and more people...untill hes destroyed everyone around him, he has no close officers....and is a leader of noone.... So he'll destroy the Families around him....and end up having to get either a real job...or just living the rest of his days as a normal person...
I have a feeling he's going to be killed. Either by someone in the family, or a rival family. Either way, its going to be shitty, this show should not end. I haven't caught a lot of it lately, but I'd like to again sometime, dammit.
It's a quality show but I've alwaysed felt people made more of the show because it's about the mob. I think alot of people are overly fascinated with mobsters.
The final episode was crap. Tony didn't get killed, as I had suspected. As a matter of fact, nothing happened. It was one of the most uneventful and pointless episodes I have ever seen. It was pure filler. They could have easily ended it with last week's episode. The show has been crap for the past three years. I am glad it's over. They should have ended it years ago.
the show is great! i always hated it because not all Italians are like that, me being italian but my dad got me into it and ive been watching A&E and i agree with you, whats with the final episode? nothing happened....she just went to the door and its done. i was so confused....
I also have disagreements with the show being called "TV's greatest drama". The problems I have with this is that: 1.) TV dramas are still being made so we don't know what new and innovative drama is comming next. 2.) The Sopranos came on HBO a premium cable channel. So imo the show should be mainly compared to other dramas that have aired on premium cable. Comparing premium cable dramas to those on network TV or non-premium cable isn't the best thing because both network dramas and non-premium channels have more restrictions on them that premium channels don't have that can influence the creative direction and appeal of their shows. A CBS drama will always be different from an HBO or Showtime drama for this reason.
you guys are off the mark. I could just as easily make the argument that the sudden cut to black was chilling and ominous. I don't have a doubt in my mind that Tony was killed, there was a lot of tension being built up throughout the scene, just below the surface. I kind of like how no one knows for sure if Tony died or not (no, you DON'T know for sure, any more than you know if god exists) and anyway who needs to experience closure for a fucking fictional character?
i believe tony was killed. remember when bobby said when you go you dont see it coming, and everything just fades to black? and remember everytime someone came in the door tony looked up and then the camera would go to his perspective. the last time everything just stopped. and if he didnt die then i think the music would have rolled over the credits. but it just stopped as if tony was wacked. plus some of the people in the diner were in previous episodes and all had reasons to kill tony. read into it people, its sad that you all need everything handed to you. think about it. it was a great ending to a great story, which was all about tony soprano. and when the show ended, that was indeed his life ended. i also like to believe carm and aj were smashed in the crossfire. and meadow witnessed the whole thing. crazy isnt it.
